Eastern Research Group, Inc. () is seeking a full-time Junior Subcontract Administrator to join our Contracts team associated with our Chantilly, VA, and Concord, MA offices. We offer a flexible work environment, including a remote or remote/office hybrid option. A successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to grow into additional subcontract and contract administration areas.
Job Description:
  • Supporting ERG contract and subcontract administrators to satisfy subcontract/purchase order requirements from initiation through closeout, including reviewing subcontractor proposals and required procurement documentation; drafting, negotiating, and administering task orders and purchase orders
  • Managing the subcontractor invoice approval process, including interface with subcontractors, ERG project staff, and accounting
  • Maintaining organized files, tracking spreadsheets, and responding to audit requests
  • Performing contract-related research
  • Managing the subcontract closeout process
Qualifications and Skills:
  • BA/BS degree preferred with a minimum of 0-5 years of experience administering federal contracts
  • While not required, federal government contracting or finance experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
