Eastern Research Group, Inc. () is seeking a full-time Subcontract Administrator to join our Contracts team associated with our Chantilly, VA, and Concord, MA offices. We offer a flexible work environment, including a remote or remote/office hybrid option. This position offers the opportunity to grow into additional contract administration areas such as proposal preparation, pricing, and client management.
Job Description:
  • Providing cradle-to-grave subcontract support primarily under federal government contracts
  • Working directly with project teams to satisfy subcontract/purchase order requirements from initiation through closeout
  • Specific responsibilities include reviewing subcontractor proposals and required procurement documentation; drafting, negotiating, and administering subcontracts and purchase orders; and reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices
  • Providing support to major proposal efforts, including preparing and executing teaming agreements and NDAs, working with technical and contracts proposal staff and team subcontractors, and providing input for proposal narratives
  • Providing fast turn-around support for onboarding new subcontractors, and issuing task orders and modifications to existing subcontractors to reflect changing requirements
  • Maintaining organized files and tracking spreadsheets
  • Gathering data for audits and other required government reporting
  • Performing contract-related research
  • Implementing company purchasing system policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • BA/BS preferred, with a minimum of 5 years experience administering federal contracts
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: GSA Multiple Award Schedules (especially professional services), US EPA contracting, and/or DoD contracting
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe
  • Working knowledge of FAR
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
