The Payroll HRIS Analyst will serve as the system administrator for our payroll platform (ADP Vantage), ensuring data integrity, user access, and security. This role will be instrumental in troubleshooting system issues, developing reports, and participating in system enhancements and upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical proficiency with ADP Vantage, and a solid understanding of payroll processes and regulations. Additionally, the Payroll HRIS Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, provide training and support to system users, and contribute to company-wide projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a system administrator, responsible for role-based user security and ensuring appropriate user access and data integrity.
  • Act as business technical analyst to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ADP Vantage system issues.
  • Develop and maintain queries and reports to support payroll processes, requests from users and management, and regulatory requirements in a timely manner while driving standardization across the organization where possible.
  • Participates in the implementation of system enhancements, upgrades and integrations including testing new ADP Vantage features and functionalities.
  • Setup and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), including working with internal and external auditors on process workflows and key audit controls.
  • Provides training and support to system users, ensuring they can effectively use ADP Vantage. This includes creating user procedure guidelines and documentation, training sessions, and offering support for any user queries or difficulties.
  • Analyze payroll data and business processes to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Gather detailed requirements for identified changes or enhancements.
  • Collaborate on payroll initiatives and other company-wide projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, local, state, and federal laws related to assigned projects.
  • Assist with audits and reporting.
  • Conduct or support year end payroll tasks.
  • Backup to Corporate Payroll processing and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree information systems or related field.
  • At least 2 to 4 years in a role with payroll or accounting systems administration responsibility, exhibiting knowledge, application, and systems configuration testing. Experience with ADP Vantage required.
  • Required Excel high proficiency.
  • Researching and understanding employment, payroll, timekeeping, and wage & hour concepts and regulations.
  • Using strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrating excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.
  • Continuous learner interested in both tinkering with software and navigating the complexities of Payroll.
  • Capacity to understand business needs and design workflows and processes in accordance.
