Position Description:
Responsible for the effective delivery of HIM (Health Information Management) training programs for the Hospital Solutions products. Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Able to learn the Ingenix hospital solutions encoding products to the point of becoming an expert
  • Deliver HIM training to new and existing clients (on-site and/or WebEx)
  • Stay up to date on product changes and enhancements
  • Update product training material with each release of the product
  • Create training material for new modules/applications
  • Establish working relationships with HIM and technical implementation teams
  • Provide feedback from customers that will enhance the usability and functionality of the products offered
  • Provide support to HIM department as needed
  • Position requires travel

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and/or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • 3 or more years of hospital inpatient coding experience
  • Experience using hospital encoding products
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to travel 25%- 35%
  • High school diploma/GED
Assets:
  • Training experience and the ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations
  • Experience developing and writing instructional materials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver training to diverse audiences
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time successfully
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Some college preferred
