Territory Specialist

Ecolab's Textile Care Division provides products, systems & services that meet the complex needs of large commercial laundry operations. Recognizing that customers differ in size, technology & service requirements, Ecolab formed the Textile Care Division to offer chemical & dispensing systems for textile rental & industrial laundries. Ecolab delivers a total approach to laundry problems with a wide & varied offering that is unmatched in the industry. To help customers meet increasing challenges, we focus sales, research & development resources exclusively on giving those customers a competitive edge. Laundry chemistry is a complex science, taking into account fabric construction, soil characteristics, wash classification, detergency & water chemistry. Textile Care offers expert consulting to help customers control their total cost to launder. This is where you come in.

Ecolab is looking for a Territory Specialist in the New England area, to support a chain account in Massachusetts and New York.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with customers, identifying/influencing decision makers
  
• Maintain customer satisfaction, retain & grow accounts & handle emergency service
  
• Ensure accessibility & responsiveness, working collaboratively with the team & becoming a trusted team member
  
• Provide support, training & troubleshooting for customers to ensure an understanding of Ecolab products/services
  
• Seek unique solutions to solve problems, introducing new & enhanced procedures to increase customer operating efficiencies
  
• Exceed growth targets by creating & executing new ways of doing business
  

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree
  
• 2 yrs technical sales/service exp.
  
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  
• Valid driver’s license & acceptable 2-yr driving record
  
• Visa sponsorship not available for this role
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial laundry, science or engineering experience preferred
  
• Resilience, persuasiveness & the ability to deliver results
  
• Strong relationship mgmt capability & consulting skills
  
• Effective oral & written communication skills, strong mechanical aptitude & problem solving skills
  
• Willing & able to travel overnight, as required
